Student Activities
SDA Bocconi supports and encourages the activities of student clubs that aim to promote diversity and inclusion. Such activities are entirely managed by students, with the School assistance in developing activities and initiatives and fostering the visibility of clubs on the official communication channels.
There are currently two clubs that address these topics:
OUT (LGBTQ+ CLUB): a platform for promoting visibility, inclusion and greater attention and representation for the LGBTQ+ community at our school, also through specific partnerships.
Other Initiatives
#EMBAWomen Mentorship
The idea came from a need to give a voice to the spirit of ‘embawomen’, in other words the spirit of women who are ambitious but also aware of the difficulties they might face on their journey of professional growth, aware of the strength of the group and conscious of the role that social capital plays in their journey of professional development.
With their help and inspiration, we have launched a “call for action” to alumnae who want to be mentors for EMBA candidates within the SDA Bocconi campus, offering strength, solidarity and visibility to the #embawomen community.
D&I – MBA
D&I – MBA is a group of alumnae, alumni and current students supporting SDA Bocconi to ensure a diverse student body and inclusive surrounding community. The group focuses on utilizing its diverse cultural and professional backgrounds and its access to students and alumni to provide a unique perspective to the diversity and inclusion conversation at SDA Bocconi. Specifically, the group has voiced the students/alumni’ perspectives and ideas, offering to the School a strategic point of view on potential initiatives where the students’ perspective is relevant.
