The Guidelines for handling Aliases was proposed by Bocconi University through the Committee for Inclusion, Disability and Wellbeing to foster the inclusion of people who are going through a gender transition. The project aim is to initiate and manage Aliases in order to protect those who wish to use a name that is different from their documented name when partaking in studies or work at the school as an expression of their freedom of gender self-determination.

To foster the inclusion of people with temporary or permanent disabilities, the School offers a series of services and personalized assistance to guarantee they can fulfill their academic activities and fully participate in campus life. This covers everything from orientation to choosing classes and entry test completion, where necessary, as well as enrollment, lessons and exams.
Students with disabilities can request assistance for lessons and exams by writing to: diversity-support@sdabocconi.it. Requests are evaluated according to the specific needs and the appropriate ways to compensate or exempt the student are applied, such as the possibility of having extra time, taking exams only in oral or written form, the possibility of using a computer, etc.
Our School is always committed to the progressive elimination of physical barriers in our buildings, making it possible for everyone to access our campus, improving ease of movement and operating in a way that makes spaces and services available to everyone.
The implementation process of our campus is constantly evolving. Therefore, our university welcomes feedback on the difficulties some might encounter when using spaces and services so that we might improve them. Reports can be sent to diversity-support@sdabocconi.it.
