To grasp international art market dynamics and understand the roles of collectors, investors, galleries, advisors, fairs, and auction houses.
The Dossier in the second issue of Economia&Management in 2023 is dedicated to the various poverty situations in Italy and the alarming data that characterise a growing phenomenon. Poverty can be, in the first instance, economic, but also cognitive and educational, it can affect different social strata and condition existence irreversibly.
Fabrizio Perretti writes in his editorial that «despite Italy being a developed and wealthy country, poverty remains a serious problem that affects many families and individuals, compromising their quality of life and putting their dignity at risk, with percentages not very different from those of the 1950s». The social shock absorbers, protagonists of the most recent reforms, may not be sufficient, especially in a period, such as the one we are living, marked by one of the highest inflation rates in recent years.
It is precisely to the issue of inflation, as an aggravating factor in a delicate economic situation such as Italy’s, that the podcast by Tito Boeri, Director of the Department of Economics at Bocconi University, is dedicated.
The current issue is accompanied by two focuses: one is dedicated to the Pnrr, to the critical issues that public administrations have to face in order to obtain its benefits, and to the possible paths, both administrative and organisational, to put in place in order not to miss the great opportunity offered by this instrument. The other focus is on the need to provide good governance to improve the performance of large companies, as well as medium and small enterprises.
