The MBA47 started yesterday with 100 new protagonists: 99 students plus one Program Director, Stefano Pogutz. He is taking over for Francesco Daveri who has led SDA Bocconi School of Management's flagship program for the last four editions.
"A unique and motivating adventure is beginning, capable of profoundly transforming the lives of our students, and not only in professional terms," says Pogutz, a sustainability and management professor. "Our MBA requires participants to work hard and be actively involved to learn the fundamentals and techniques of management, and to acquire the skills necessary to face the economic and social challenges of today and tomorrow. At the same time, thanks to a flexible and modular program, we try to encourage everyone to find the right aspirations to be a leading player in the world of the future, aligning individual purpose and ambitions to become leaders capable of making a positive impact."
Coming from 30 countries, 76% international, with an average age of 29 and with more than 5 years of work experience, students are now involved in the Opening Week of the program. They are preparing to start an immersive and engaging experience in a stimulating environment and with a strong network in academia and in the world of work and institutions. This is confirmed in part by the fact that 84% of MBA Graduates change country, sector or function at the end of the program and do so within 3 months of graduation, with a 126% salary increase after three years.
"I recommend all students experience the MBA as real protagonists, taking advantage of the numerous opportunities for knowledge generation and debate that are provided every day by our faculty and by the network of relationships offered by Bocconi," says the MBA Program Director.
