Federico Colantoni is a Researcher at SDA Bocconi School of Management and an adjunct professor for the Mergers & Acquisitions course at Bocconi University.
His research activities focus on corporate finance, extraordinary finance, sustainable finance, and corporate welfare. At SDA Bocconi, he has participated in numerous research projects and consulting assignments, collaborating with prominent private and public institutions, including CRIF, Altagamma, LIDL, Leonardo, Parmigiano Reggiano, and Edenred. He is also part of the REPAiR Lab research team.
Federico has an extensive body of scholarly work and has published various articles and essays on corporate finance, corporate governance, business crisis management, and sustainability. His publications include several Anvur A-rated journals such as Business Strategy and the Environment, Journal of Management and Governance, Finance Research Letters, and Journal of Management and Organization.
He has gained significant experience in the private equity sector and currently works with a consulting firm, where he heads the corporate finance and sustainability department. Federico has developed particular expertise in structuring fiscal and corporate frameworks, M&A operations, and supporting the drafting of sustainability reports.
After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance and a Master of Science in Finance from Bocconi University (which included an exchange program at ESADE University), he completed a PhD in Accounting at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland.
