Ricci Alberto is an Associate Professor of Practice in Government, Health and Not for Profit at SDA Bocconi School of Management.
His collaboration with SDA Bocconi began in 2011 as a researcher at CERGAS (Centre for research on health and social care management). Since 2018, he has taught Public Management at Università Bocconi. Since 2014, he has formed part of the faculty of the Master in Healthcare Management (MiMS); in particular, he coordinates the module on Management of healthcare providers.
He has carried out more than 30 research and applied research projects, working with national, regional and local authorities, as well as leading healthcare providers, pharmaceutical & medical device companies and trade associations.
He coordinates the Observatory on Italian Healthcare Management (OASI) and the Observatory on Private Healthcare Providers (OSPA).
His research interests include the evolution of the Italian Healthcare System, governance and organization of healthcare providers, public-private partnerships in healthcare, budgeting and cost analysis of medical procedures and services.
He is the author of peer-reviewed articles in international and national journals: Public Money and Management, Mecosan and Azienda Pubblica. He is a member of the Audit Committee of the Italian Health Economics Association.
He is a member of the Associazione Italiana di Economia Sanitaria, where he serves as a member of the Board of Auditors
Born in 1986, he holds an MSc in Economics and Management of Public and International Institutions from Università Bocconi (2010) and a PhD in Management from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore di Milano (2016). He is married with one child.
