The Arts & Culture Knowledge Center @ SDA Bocconi School of Management generates knowledge and promotes managerial skills and attitudes in the arts & culture sector through professional and educational projects.

The Knowledge Center also supports the activities of the International Journal of Arts Management, the essential reading for the art management community

Why Arts & Culture

An independent cultural hub, the Knowledge Center coordinates all the initiatives related to the management of arts and culture, at domestic and international level alike, while developing privileged relationships with key players, engaged in policy and management decision-making processes to improve the quality and the impact of cultural systems in Italy and abroad.

The Arts & Culture field involves a wide range of institutions in the public, private and not-for-profit sector, at local, regional, national and international level. Consequently, arts and culture have a significant economic and social impact on individuals and communities: knowledge stems from combining different competencies in the management fields and liaising with key stakeholders and actors within the sector. That is just why arts and culture deserve a dedicated approach, which eventually leads research and training to involving people, companies and institutions.

The current activities and programs of the Knowledge Center have as a main focus:

PROMOTION OF HERITAGE
CULTURAL PHILANTHROPY
INNOVATION & CHANGE IN THE ARTS
