Before Fiori Papanastasiou enrolled in the Executive Master in Marketing and Sales (EMMS), in partenrship with Esade and directed by Marco Aurelio Sisti and Ferran Blanch, she was Marketing Manager at Xiaomi for Greece, Cyprus and Malta. But something had been telling her to push higher, to take on a greater role.

Fiori Papanastasiou attended the Executive Master in Marketing and Sales in 2021/2022 and has since gone on to make big moves in her career at a Fortune Global 500 company.

Before Fiori Papanastasiou enrolled in the Executive Master in Marketing and Sales (EMMS), directed by Marco Aurelio Sisti and Ferran Blanch, she was Marketing Manager at Xiaomi for Greece, Cyprus and Malta. But something had been telling her to push higher, to take on a greater role.

“I am ambitious and keen to continuously learn, grow and develop both academically and professionally. Attending EMMS was in my plans for a number of years, and 2 years ago I felt that was the right moment to do it,” she said of her experience.

EMMS gave her the opportunity to climb to new heights of responsibility and leadership. After graduating, she remained at the company and has had several promotions. She now occupies the role of Marketing Leader and covers 10 countries across Europe.

The great opportunity of EMMS is in the possibility to learn new skills and knowledge while continuing to work. Students can remain in their current position while attending the year-long program.

“I knew that marketing is my main professional orientation and I was very intrigued to get back to class and combine my professional experience with the academic knowledge and recent trends that you can get from a well-known university like Bocconi,” Papanastasiou added.

Today, EMMS17 students are embarking on module 3 of the program, with a focus on Strategic Marketing Management, Digital Business & Communication and Finance for Marketers, which takes place on the SDA Bocconi campus in Milan. The program is a partnership between two great business schools – Esade and SDA Bocconi – taught across two countries and four cities (Milan, Rome, Barcelona and Madrid). It also takes advantage of a hybrid teaching module, with in-person courses lasting a week and accompanied by periods of online learning.

“EMMS is a unique experience, and during on-site classes, you can really connect with your classmates, enjoy student life in 4 beautiful cities, and build life-long relationships,” said Papanastasiou.
