Will mark the end of a journey started almost two years ago by SDA Bocconi School of Management Innovation and Corporate Entrepreneurship Center (ICE) of SDA Bocconi School of Management on behalf of Pane Quotidiano, the non-profit organization founded in Milan in 1898 with the goal of providing free food to the poorest residents every day.
The Pane Quotidiano Innovation Contest 2022 is a competition aimed at all members of the Bocconi student community, and created with a view to supporting Pane Quotidiano’s innovation strategy. The focus is on supply chain, human resources management, communication and fundraising. The three winning projects will be presented during the prize-giving event on 10 October. The winning teams will develop their ideas with ICE and Bocconi for innovation (B4i), and then work alongside Pane Quotidiano to implement the new solutions.
Two other projects will be presented: a research project by Edoardo Terilli, a Bocconi student who developed an algorithm for balancing the diets offered by Pane Quotidiano, and Good Giving, a start-up created by SDA Bocconi’s ICE, Corporate Hangar, Salesforce and Pane Quotidiano. Here the aim is to set up a platform for digitally connecting food companies and nonprofit organizations which are active in the distribution of foodstuffs.
Pane Quotidiano’s Innovation Journey was initiated by Paola Roberta Boscolo, lecturer at Bocconi University and researcher in the Governance, Health and Not for Profit Knowledge Group, Markus Venzin, Bocconi University’s Pro-Rector for Innovation, Stefka Rakova, Business Developer SDA Bocconi, and Giulio Magistrelli, Project Manager and consultant at Pane Quotidiano, with the support of an unprecedented team including Alberto Grando, Professor of Operations & Supply Chain Management at Bocconi University, Ludovica Del Priore, Knowledge Analyst SDA Bocconi, Laura Taveggia, Head of Events and Operations SDA Bocconi, Valeria Di Natale, Innovation Consultant Corporate Hangar, Gianluca del Bono, Director Professional Services Salesforce, and Max Zanaboni, Senior Program Architect Salesforce.
Representatives of the Good Giving platform’s early-adopters Mondelez, Danone and Bauli will also participate in the event.
