SDA Bocconi School of Management and online education provider Emeritus are partnering to create a suite of online executive education courses. The new online courses will be designed to provide middle management and senior executives with new knowledge frameworks and essential skills required to be successful in a data-driven, digital environment and a rapidly changing workplace.

The first three courses will cover Marketing, Healthcare and Manufacturing to build on SDA Bocconi’s reputation for using digital media to get through to a global audience with cutting-edge contents and teaching methods. The program on “Big Data and AI in Marketing” will be launched first, in a live online format, while additional courses exploring data, technology and economics in Healthcare as well as service design and digital innovation in Manufacturing will be developed in second part of 2021.

Professor Gabriele Troilo, Professor of Marketing and Associate Dean of SDA Bocconi Online Learning, said: “This new partnership provides a strong support to our continuous and increasing investment in online learning. Our ambition is to establish a solid position in the global arena of executive online education and we believe Emeritus is a perfect partner to achieve this objective. We share the same vision of the future of education and the way online learning must be designed and delivered. The combination of high-quality business programs with a top performing delivery process will benefit executives from different industries and seniority all over the world.”

Dawid Rheeder, Director, University Partnerships UK & Europe, at Emeritus, said: “SDA Bocconi School of Management is a pioneer in innovating multi-format, flexible learning opportunities to meet increasing student demand, both domestically and internationally. Emeritus has a shared vision with the School and we are excited to partner with SDA Bocconi to deliver highly relevant online courses to professionals focused on obtaining new knowledge and enhancing key skills to help define their career progression in the years to come.”

Big Data and AI in Marketing. This two-month course of approximately 4-6 hours per week equips participants to fully exploit the potential of big data and AI, by transforming their vision of the market, helping them design new value propositions, and changing the way they make marketing decisions. It is envisaged that the first course will start in the first half of 2021. It will be a first step in cooperating with this new partner to enrich SDA Bocconi’s offer and match the increasingly flexible and complex educational needs of managers and companies.
