Il corso punta a potenziare le competenze manageriali e definire le logiche e gli strumenti fondamentali a supporto del cambiamento “agile” dei modelli organizzativi.
Milano, 14 November 2019
From the time of the League of Nations in 1919 to the contemporary reality of our dynamic world, multilateralism has been essential to promoting peace and security as well as cooperation among nations, thus preventing the advent of events like the Second World War.
Today, given the globalization and interdependence among nations and the significance of global complexities we all face, multilateralism is becoming more and more essential. No-one -no matter how powerful, devoted and motivated - can face, by itself, the global challenges we all face today: from climate change to poverty, organized crime, terrorism and discrimination.
In this context, the United Nations are the very center of multilateralism and the realization of a vision of the founding fathers to respond to the "number one" need of our citizens: a wealthy, peaceful and sustainable world that leaves no one behind.
In recognition of the importance of managing and understanding multilateralism, the functioning of the contemporary global development system and its future evolutions, in 2015 SDA Bocconi School of Management launched the "EMMIO - Executive Master in Management of International Organizations".
Over the last 5 years, EMMIO saw the successful participation of 100 mid- and senior-professionals serving International Development at different levels: UN, IFIs, INGOs, Supranational Organizations and private sector.
Celebrating 100 years of Multilateralism and 100 participants to its EMMIO program, SDA Bocconi School of Management is making available two partial tuition waivers of EUR 5,000 for outstanding professionals contributing to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and interested to take part to the 6th cohort of the EMMIO program starting in October 2020.
