Nicola Pavoni is a Full Professor of Economics at Università Bocconi, where he is also the Program Director of the PhD in Economics and Finance. He started his academic career at the University College London. From January 2018 he is editor of the Journal of the European Economic Association.
His research interests range from Macroeconomic Theory, Economics of Information, Public Finance, Consumption Theory, Labour Economics and Behavioural Economics. His work has been published in Econometrica, the American Economic Review, the Review of Economics Studies, the Journal of Economic Theory, the Journal of Monetary Economics, the Journal of the European Economic Association, the Economic Journal, the Journal of Public Economics and the International Economic Review, among others.
He got a PhD in Mathematic for Economic Decisions from the University of Trieste and a PhD in Economics from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona.
