Marta Barbieri is an Associate Professor of Practice in Public Management at SDA Bocconi School of Management.
At SDA Bocconi, she has been the Director of the Executive Education Custom Programs Division in Public Administration, Health Care and Not for Profit Organizations andĀ Faculty Deputy of the Knowledge Group Government, Health and Not for Profit.Ā She has also been in charge of the Executive Master in Management of Regional Authorities (EMMER) and of the Public Administration Human Resource Community (PAHRC). In addition to education and research activities on her topics of interest, she designs and coordinates numerous education and research initiatives (masters, custom programs, market courses, applied research projects, etc.) with public institutions and hospitals.
Her research activities focus on three main topics: Human Resources management, measurement and evaluation of organizational and individual performance and organization of public administrations.
She is the author of numerous books and articles on her topics of interest. Her works have been published in the series White Paper OCAP (Observatory on Change in Public Administration), Economia & Management andĀ OASI (Observatory on Healthcare Organizations and Policies in Italy).Ā She is a Coach for master students and executive course participants and an editorial board member of OCAP ā Osservatorio sul cambiamento delle PA (Observatory of change in public administration). She won the Premio Eccellenza (Excellence Award) in Coordination in 2007 and 2010. She is a member of several Evaluation Bodies and Independent Evaluation Bodies.
Marta earned a degree in Business Administration from UniversitĆ Bocconi, a Ph.D. in Economics of Public Companies and Administrations from the UniversitĆ degli Studi di Parma and a Diploma in āPrograma de CertificaciĆ³n en Coaching Ejecutivoā from Escuela Europea de Coaching.
