Marco Merelli is a Senior Lecturer in Economic Scenarios at SDA Bocconi School of Management. He is a Contract Professor for the courses on Economic Prospects in the Master of Science in International Management and European Economic Policy in the Bachelor in International Economics and Management at Bocconi University. His collaboration with SDA Bocconi began in 1995.
He teaches economics and economic scenarios in the Executive MBA, the Managerial Development Program, and customized courses for companies and public institutions. Since 2012, he has been a faculty member of the International Master in Business at SDA Bocconi Asia Center in Mumbai. He has managed research and training projects for major multinational companies, public administrations, and partner universities. From 2002 to 2006, he served as the Vice Director of the Economics Area. At Bocconi University, he is also the Coordinator of the Master's Degree in Economics and Management of Transport, Logistics, and Infrastructure (MEMIT).
His interests focus on international economic scenarios, economic policies, and economic geography.
He is the editor of several Italian editions of economic textbooks. His latest publications include the Italian editions of N. Gregory Mankiw's "Principles of Economics" by Zanichelli and P. Krugman and R. Wells' "Essentials of Economics" by Zanichelli. Marco earned a degree in Political Economy, specializing in International Economics, from Bocconi University and attended an International Teachers Programme (ITP) at the Manchester Business School.
