Fabio Michele Amatucci is an Affiliate Professor of Business Government Relations at SDA Bocconi School of Management. Research fellow in Management area at CERGAS (Center for Research on Healthcare Management). Associate Professor at Department of Law, Economics, Management and Quantitative Methods (DEMM), Università degli studi del Sannio.
His collaboration with SDA Bocconi began in 1994. He has coordinated major national and international research projects. Many of his projects have been funded by external sources, both private and public. He has also formed part of the research team for other projects. He has coordinated several education activities for leading Italian companies operating in the healthcare system, public services, public-private partnerships and he teaches on numerous executive courses.
His research activities focus on Business Government relations, Public Management Reform and decentralization and reinvention of local government institutions; Project finance; Modernization of the public sector; Policy Coordination and Corporate governance of public institutions; Project management and Process reengineering; Public-private partnerships (outsourcing services, foundations, project finance, leasing, contract availability, etc..); Financing strategies of local authorities and health agencies and major instruments; Government procurement processes, models of centralization. He has examined these issues especially in the healthcare and public service sectors.
He is the author of several books on Public-private partnerships and many papers which have appeared in leading national and international journals.
Fabio earned a degree in Business Administration from Università Bocconi and a Ph.D. in Public Administration.
