Leading in Emerging Financial Markets (LEFM)
SDA Bocconi MCF Mumbai Track
Today’s financial managers require more than financial expertise; they need to understand both finance and strategy to stay ahead in today’s globalized world as well as the challenges that businesses face in the constantly evolving global economy. More than just technical knowledge or functional expertise, the ability to lead & communicate effectively is imperative. Those who learn to do so with people at all levels, and from a variety of cultures and backgrounds, will be the pacesetters.
With this aim, the Asia Center has created a Leading in Emerging Financial Markets Track within the SDA Bocconi MCF, which combines finance and strategy with leadership & communication skills, to help the participants make better strategic & financial decisions and develop an effective leadership style to lead organizations in future. It is important for them to understand how financial markets function in developing nations like India.
Students will undergo a cultural and learning experience via company visits, classroom lectures, meetings with leaders, and networking opportunities. The learning process during the track is based on interactive lectures, class participation, case discussion, readings, exercises, roleplay, presentations, and feedback from faculty and peers.
MCF participants admitted to this track will spend one week in Mumbai in June 2022, and they will be offered the opportunity to complete their program and receive a certification from the Asia Center by joining the Post Graduate Program in Business (PGPB – equivalent to Full-time MBA) and International Executive Masters in Business (IEMB – equivalent to Executive MBA) classes.
