EuHEA's purpose is to promote cooperation among all national health economics associations and groups in Europe and to profile and foster health economics at European universities.

Aleksandra Torbica, a senior researcher at Bocconi's CERGAS and its former Director, brings over 20 years of expertise in health economics and policy research, including significant work with international institutions at European and global level.

This appointment has particular significance as Aleksandra Torbica is the youngest EuHEA president ever elected, and it is the first time that a representative of Italy holds this position.
