The sixth B4i - Bocconi for innovation Startup Call is officially open for entrepreneurs who wish to develop their project. Applications to the acceleration and pre-Acceleration programs, which will start in September, can be submitted until June 26th.
Now in its sixth call, the pre-acceleration, acceleration and corporate innovation platform of Bocconi University in Milan, has so far supported 112 startups and more than 200 entrepreneurs, and intends to continue to offer the selected entrepreneurs a wide range of training sessions and resources for the development of their projects, facilitating opportunities to find customers and investors.
The pre-acceleration program includes 11 training sessions over three months, with the aim of applying the main concepts useful for validating a business idea. Participation is free of charge and compatible with academic or professional commitments, with sessions organized on Saturday mornings.
The acceleration program is aimed at entrepreneurs who have set up their own early-stage company and wish to get it off the ground. The program lasts four months and includes an investment of € 30.000, dedicated services, coaching and seminars held by experienced entrepreneurs, with the ultimate goal of raising an investment round.
To date, the startups that took part in the programs have raised a total of € 6.7 million.
Admission to the acceleration program also offers access to a network of services instrumental for the rapid development of a startup, ranging from digital marketing support to legal clinics, up to benefits granted by external providers (cloud storage, talent sourcing, CRM, analytics, etc.), as well as a coworking space on Bocconi campus.
The three areas of specialization of B4i are Digital Tech, coordinated by Massimo Della Ragione, Sustainability led by Stefano Pogutz and Made in Italy followed by Gabriella Lojacono.
