On October 5, 2022, the XXIII Edition of the Master in Corporate Finance officially started with 37 students coming from 20 different countries. Aula Ferrero was the perfect location to get the new MCF candidates acquainted with the School's aura. After the institutional greetings from our Dean Prof. Beppe Soda, the international class attended three inspirational and stimulating speeches held respectively by the MCF Founder, Prof. Maurizio Dallocchio, the Vice-Rector for International Affairs at Bocconi Uniersity, Prof. Stefano Caselli, and the MCF Acadmemic Director, Prof. Federico Pippo. The speakers’ prowess was impeccable in delivering fundamental topics without any sign of rhetoric. MCF Director Pippo stressed the Master’s values and traced the path to nurture both the academic and personal growth of the students; while Prof. Dallocchio and Prof. Caselli elaborated on those values to paint an updated picture of the financial system, where all the players should support long-term sustainable growth.
Finally, Andrea Benocci, SDA Bocconi Linkedin Communities’ manager, introduced the MCF Community, and MCF 23 candidates were also provided with valuable insights and suggestions from three Alumni, who belong to the MCF Advisory Board, mni, Lucrezia Menoncello, Sara Galliazzo and Lorenzo Longo.
Last but not least, our students had the extraordinary opportunity to visit the C30, headquarters of OneDay Group, and to hear the outstanding speech of the Group CEO, Mattia Riva, who shared his "disrupting" vision on how to conduct business today.
The opening day ended in style with a delightful concert presented by Conservatorio di Cremona, followed by an aperitivo with Mama 8 students where they socialized, sharing their expectations for the exciting year ahead.
