On 3rd October the new International Master of Public Administration (MPA) started. The course, offered by SDA Bocconi School of Management, has welcomed students from all over the world who are looking to strengthen their analytical and managerial skills, required for the development of the public sector. MPA is aimed at graduates who already have some work experience, are looking to grow their skills in public management and are interested in leadership positions within governmental and non-governmental organizations operating at a local, national, international or supranational level. Amongst the participants are also professionals from the private sector who work closely with public service organizations.

The one-year Master is divided into four phases: Core Courses, focusing on "Managing & Innovating", "Measuring & Evaluating", "Leading People & Processes"; Seminars, dedicated to "Public Speaking", “Sharing Economy”, "Ethics & Citizenship" and “Power of Relations”; Concentrations, during which the participants will choose an area of specialization out of the following: "City Management and Competitiveness", "International Public and Non-profit Management", "Business and Government Relationships" and "Arts and Cultural Policy". Finally, participants will be able to do an Internship with a public institution, in Italy or abroad.

During the last week of September, prior to the start of the program, participants attended the Opening Week, during which they were able to learn more about the Master, meet their colleagues, and get to know the School and the opportunities available to them.
