Offer sports organizations know-how, rationales and tools to support and “professionalize” management and managerial activities.
The fourth block of the Diploma Programmes in Sports Management and Major Events Management in Doha (Qatar), delivered by SDA Bocconi for Josoor Institute, ended last week. During this block 100 participants, from 25 different countries and resident in Qatar, have been exposed to Sports Finance (Sports Management) and People Management (Major Events Management) international and regional contents.
They also attended multiple in-class activities and guest speakers sessions. International Guest Speakers like Michael Gandler, CEO at Calcio Como 1907 and former Chief Revenue Officer at FC Internazionale (Sports Management) and Marco Ruzza, Creative Director and Project Manager at Joravision (Major Events Management) brought in class their extensive experiences at the highest level, explaining how managerial theories can be successfully implemented in the international sport and event industries.
During this block we also had the pleasure of being in the Katara Cultural Village during the showing ceremony of FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Official Logo.
The initiative is designed and managed by Dino Ruta, Academic Director, responsible for the Sport Knowledge Center, with the support of the Program Directors Deborah Raccagni and Antonio Palmieri.
The fifth block will be in Doha at the end of October.
