THE EGP SCHOOL OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT PROMOTED BY ENEL GREEN POWER AND THE SDA BOCCONI SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT WAS INAUGURATED IN MILAN. IT OFFERS A HIGHQUALITY COURSE FOR 120 BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT PROFESSIONALS AT EGP FROM 20 COUNTRIES.

120 business development professionals from 20 countries across 5 continents. These are the participants in the EGP School of Business Development, promoted by Enel Green Power along with the SDA Bocconi School of Management, which got underway on Monday 8 May on the Milan campus.

In February of last year, EGP placed the first foundations for business development (BD) training. Now the international pool of participants is hard at work in the classrooms at SDA Bocconi in Milan.

“Thanks to this new collaboration with the SDA Bocconi School of Management, we can augment EGP know-how with the most recent and innovative knowledge in the academic world, improving our international pool of professionals developing renewables,” explains Antonio Cammisecra, Managing Director of Enel Green Power.

“The EGP School of Business Development,” says Dean of SDA Bocconi, Giuseppe Soda, “is a project that takes full advantage of the expertise at SDA Bocconi and provides a very strong synergy between the School and Enel Green Power. There is a strong and direct commitment from leadership at both organizations confirming the project’s strategic value.”

Courses have be co-designed by EGP and SDA Bocconi and will include face-to-face lectures, online activities, tutorials and exams, explains Matteo Di Castelnuovo, SDA Fellow and EGP School of Business Development director.

During the two years of EGP School of Business Development, developers from BD Enel Green Power will study subjects including topics that are relevant to advocates of company development such as Tender management, Engineering fundamentals and Partnering strategies & options, as well as courses that reinforce the fundamentals of management.

"Many of our developers are young explorers working in complex situations, dealing with different environments who may be in countries where EGP is not present,” says Antonio Cammisecra. “The School of Business Development is the meeting point of these environments, allowing colleagues from 5 continents the chance to come together to share experiences and discuss issues and approaches to daily work.”
