In the Which MBA ranking of the best MBA programs in the world, the School gains 10 positions and places 5th in Europe.
Valued for its teaching and personal experience and for its ability to open new professional and networking opportunities, the MBA of SDA Bocconi School of Management obtains a placing in the European top 5 in the 2017 Which MBA ranking of the best Full-Time MBA programs published by The Economist. In the list of the 100 best programs in the world, SDA Bocconi – the only Italian school making the cut – in fact placed 28th in the world (+10 positions) and 5th in Europe (+5 positions).
The ranking is based 50% on data supplied by the schools and 50% on the evaluations provided by current students and recent graduates. The criteria analyzed cover four main categories: new career opportunity openings, personal development and the educational experience, salary increase after the MBA and potential for networking.
"The Economist's assessment is one of the most complete because it combines the value of education with personal development and soft skills, both key elements for SDA Bocconi MBA program and its coaching activities" comments Stefano Gatti, MBA Director from 2014 until the 2016/17 edition. "Among the parameters considered, new post-MBA professional opportunities, the value of faculty and the Alumni network. Being in the top five means having obtained a good performance in all these parameters and thus being sure of offering our students a program that can speed up their career."
SDA Bocconi confirms itself once again as the only Italian School present in all the most important international rankings. Last month its MBA program ranked as the fifth best 1-year program in the world (among non-US business schools) according to Forbes and is placed 9th in Europe in the Financial Times ranking.
