Matteo joined Luxottica in 1997. He was responsible of Service Desk and local Computer rooms in EMEA subsidiaries.
In the IT technical area he has participated to the ERP migration from AS400 to SAP, the migration from on premise Datacenters to Cloud Private Datacenter, moving the insourcing support to a full outsourcing model and, finally, the migration of the Datacenter from Private Cloud to Public Cloud in Microsoft Azure.
He was responsible for the implementation of O365 environment moving about 25.000 user mailboxes + other 10.000 service mailboxes.
With the evolution of the Company he moved from the pure Technology area, where he was the EMEA CTO, to different responsibilities: Group IT Security, Global Network and EMEA Store Technology support. Today he is the Corporate Information Security Officer for Luxottica Group, responsible for global cyber and information security.
