Bocconi University will host the EHMA "Health Futures" Annual Conference.
EHMA Annual Conference is an international knowledge sharing event, where participants from all around Europe and beyond have the opportunity to share their knowledge and explore fundamental managerial and policy issues.
Two perspectives will be considered. On the one hand, delegates will try to identify external trends in demography, technology, economy and culture and discuss what those trends mean for the demands on and organisation of our Healthcare systems in the (near) future. On the other hand, they will attempt to assess how such changes are impacting the current reform agenda and whether they are making service improvement challenging to achieve.
The GHNP, Government, Health and Not for Profit Division is honoured to guest such an influential event that brings together policy makers, health managers, health professionals, educators and heads of research programmes. Among the Keynote Speakers:

The importance of health technology assessment (HTA) as a tool to govern the introduction and diffusion of healthcare technologies has grown significantly in the last decades at a time of shortage for public finance. In fact, HTA has developed so fast to appear nowadays as a globally recognized process aiming to maximize the social value of health technologies while assuring they are worth- while in terms of consumed resources. Many countries are supporting these efforts by investing resources in HTA and associated evaluation activities. |
