Biografia

Christoph Carnehl è Assistant Professor del Dipartimento di Economia dell’Università Bocconi. 

I suoi interessi di ricerca si concentrano principalmente nel campo della Teoria Microeconomica. In particolare, è interessato ai problemi dinamici con informazioni in evoluzione. Le principali applicazioni della sua ricerca teorica riguardano l'economia della scienza, l'economia dell'innovazione e, più in generale, l'organizzazione industriale. È autore di numerosi articoli sui suoi argomenti di interesse. I suoi lavori sono stati pubblicati nel Journal of the European Economic Association e nel Journal of Economic Theory, tra gli altri. È anche interessato al lavoro empirico, per cui ha lavorato su una stima di modelli di aste, sull'analisi delle politiche di fusione e sull'interazione tra strategie di prezzo e valutazioni online. 

Ha conseguito un M.Sc. in Economia presso l'Università di Mannheim e ha ottenuto il suo dottorato di ricerca presso la stessa università.
