Fees and scholarships
A challenging but high-return investment
Pursuing the MCF is a significant financial commitment, but one that yields substantial long-term rewards. Below is an overview of the costs. SDA Bocconi’s MCF is an intensive, full-time program that requires full dedication to maximize its impact. Given its rigorous structure, participants cannot engage in professional activities to provide financial support during the program.

The tuition fee includes:
Participants must provide their own laptop.
Application fee (non-refundable): €120
SDA test fee (this applies only if the SDA Test is chosen as an alternative to the GMAT or GRE) (non-refundable): €100

Personal Expenses: Of course, personal expenses will vary significantly depending on each individual's lifestyle. Based on recent input from our students, we aim to provide an accurate estimate of monthly personal expenses, which typically range between €2,000 and €2,500.
Scholarships and tuition waivers
Each year, SDA Bocconi School of Management offers multiple scholarships and tuition waivers for outstanding candidates.
Applications are evaluated according to the following criteria:
- Analysis of academic and professional records
- Analysis of the requirements indicated in the specific notice of competition
- Results of the MCF selection process
To be eligible for a tuition waiver, applicants must:
- Submit the application to the MCF 2027-2028
- Review the pre-requisites for each tuition waiver
- Apply for the scholarship/tuition waiver, once available and if required, on the online Application Portal by the indicated deadlines (multiple applications are allowed).
The tuition waivers will be awarded during the selection process and no later than the starting date of the MCF 2027-2028 Program.
Grants ranging from 10% to 50% of the total tuition fee may be awarded upon admission to our MCF or by the deadlines specified in the relevant notices of competition here below. All admitted candidates are automatically considered for the “Merit-Based Tuition Waiver” without the need to apply separately. To be considered for tuition waivers other than those mentioned above, candidates must apply for them when completing the online application by the deadlines specified in the relevant notice of competition. Tuition waivers and scholarships are typically awarded before the start of the program. If a higher tuition waiver is awarded, any previously awarded tuition waiver will be withdrawn. Admission to the MCF program is independent of the awarding of any scholarship or tuition waiver.
Loans and funding
The School assists candidates with their search for funding by supplying the necessary documentation, and encouraging them to explore all scholarship and loan possibilities. SDA Bocconi partners with a number of financial institutes offering low-interest loans to admitted and eligible students. Our partner institutes are:
- Lendwise for international students;
- Italian Banks for Italian and international students (please note that applications for loans issued by Italian Banks must be submitted by the end of the month following the starting date of your Master);
- Bocconi offers Support Programs to student-athletes who participate in sport competitions at regional, national and international level. Find out more here
