A Valuable Support for Your Professional Growth

The office of Career Services is designed to support your professional development throughout the program. SDA Bocconi also coordinates events and initiatives dedicated to the larger community of specialized Master programs, which MAMA candidates are welcome to attend.

What Can the Arts World Expect from MAMA?

The final mission of MAMA staff and participants is to sustain the development and diffusion of arts and to support the growth of art institutions. For this reason we are committed to partnering with arts organizations who are looking to improve their management capacity.

Career Development

MAMA offers counseling and dedicated services to help you gain a better understanding of the job market and of your strengths and weaknesses.

Individual Coaching

Our coaching program is based on a series of one-to-one meetings with a certified coach from the SDA Bocconi team, and focuses on increasing your self-awareness and facilitating personal development. It’s a great opportunity to reflect on all aspects of your on-campus experience, learn from it, and make the most of all development opportunities your Master will provide in terms of self-management, working in multicultural teams, contributing to the class learning experience, etc.

Career Curriculum

Career Services helps you develop the fundamental skills you may require for your career management through a series of workshops and seminars such as learning how to write a good CV, how to prepare for a job interview, and enhance your LinkedIn profile.

CV Book

You will be involved in the creation of the school’s CV Book for your class, which includes resumes and photos of all those who want to be part of it. The CV Book will be published before the end of the program.

Student Clubs

Student Clubs, supervised by Career Services, promote ideas and interaction within Bocconi and the business community in general through activities focused on management, education, and networking. Clubs can have a professional or social focus, and are normally chaired by full-time MBA students. All other master students, including MAMA’s, are encouraged to become active club members and promote initiatives.

Great Opportunities for Arts Organizations

MAMA participants have a passion for the arts and are aware of the specific knowledge and skills that are necessary to work in arts organizations. The MAMA’s specific curriculum (together with participant backgrounds in the humanities and social sciences) gives them a true competitive advantage, when compared with candidates of other programs.

MAMA participants are international as well as multicultural, speaking excellent English, fluent in Italian as well as other languages, with ages ranging between 25 to 35, and at least one year of work experience.

Arts institutions and organizations are willing to collaborate with students, commissioning field projects or hosting internships that allow an exchange of knowledge, ideas and passion. These opportunities will form the basis for lasting relationships with MAMA and its arts management community.

Any arts institution can collaborate with MAMA through:

  • Internships
  • Field projects
  • Recruiting
  • Research projects with the MAMA faculty
